The Truck Driver/Yard position is a valued member of the shipping and receiving operations.
This job will primarily consist of local and regional vehicle operations involving positioning and moving trucks and trailers on and between construction and maintenance facilities.
The position requires employees to work in a variety of weather conditions.
This position is outside all year round.
Due to the operating conditions of the position, this is considered a safety sensitive position.
*No more nights or weekends! Monday thru Friday 7:30 am to 4:00PM*
*Essential Functions*

Operate company-owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of products and materials.
Perform required before-, during- and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports.
Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment.
Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
*When not driving perform yard duties such as; Assist with loading and unloading of merchandise.
*
Read, pick and pack customer, transfer and rental orders.
Check and identify PO numbers and labels to ensure order accuracy.
*Work Environment*
The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of weather conditions.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.
m.
to 4:00 p.
m.
, with occasional overtime.
40 hours per week.
