Job description
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* Needs to be able to run a track loader and /or Blade tractor.
Must be able to read blueprints.
Dig out for New Construction and septic systems.
* Operates one or more of the following pieces of heavy construction equipment skillfully, safely, and in accordance with traffic laws and regulations: Excavators, Backhoes, Motor Graders, Rubber Tire Loaders, Track & Wheel Loaders, Dozers, and Skid Steer Loaders
* Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations, and procedures as set forth by company policies and OSHA
* Operate and monitor all equipment and production area safely and efficiently
* Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed
* Communicate with the management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needs
* Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
*Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:*
* High school diploma, G.
E.
D.
or equivalent
* *Must have a valid driver’s and Class A CDL license No Restrictions*
* Knowledge of or ability to learn Occupational Safety Hazards and appropriate safety precautions and procedures.
* Must have reliable transportation
* Ability to work independently and/or with your crew to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
* Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local standards
* Can stand, sit, walk, reach, balance, stoop, kneel for long periods of time
* Ability to lift tools and equipment of 75lbs or greater
* Can see up close, distances, colors and has use of peripheral vision and depth perception
* Must be able to perform physically strenuous work outdoors in all types of weather
