Budtender

Budtenders are the face of the Retail Marijuana Industry that represent the mission and the goals of Elevate Missouri while providing superior customer service and maintaining a level of product knowledge to meet the needs of the patron, while providing an education on the safe consumption of available products.
They are also responsible for knowing the laws that govern a legal sale of marijuana in either a medical or retail setting to ensure that the business is operating within the confines of compliance.
They are the last people in the seed-to-sale chain of production who have the task of delivering products while giving the customer the best experience we can provide.
*Duties and Responsibilities* * General Customer Service * Checks customer/patient ID's * Conducts transactions at the register * Fronts and faces product on shelves * Stocks products on shelves, which requires bending the body downward at the waist, ascending and descending a step stool, and lifting boxes up to forty pounds * Remains upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time, up to 88% of the working day Moves about on foot to accomplish tasks to meet customer/patient needs * Helps keep the store clean and tidy, including sweeping and mopping * Provides customer education about products and uses * Works with leadership to understand company goals and procedures Other duties as assigned by management *Minimum Qualifications and Requirements* * Is a customer service professional * Must be organized and maintain a neat and clean work station * Must have familiarity with grams vs ounces * Must be able to perform simple math * Must be willing to learn about new products and cannabinoids * Must be aware of and abide by all laws and compliance surrounding retail operations * Must possess a willingness to learn the effects and applications of concentrates and other THC infused products * Experience in the use of cannabis and possess a willingness to learn strain genetics including their properties and effects * Is familiar with Windows, Microsoft Office and Google Drive * Must be able to operate the point of sale system and maintain accurate cash handling practices * Must have 1 year of cash handling experience * Must have 1 year of customer service experience * Must be computer literate * Must have reliable transportation to/from work Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.
